One of my favourites! A beautiful Cherry Bakewell–inspired cake. 2 layers of indulgent almond sponge, layered with smooth vanilla buttercream and a generous spread of raspberry jam. Coated in soft buttercream and finished with a generous scattering of flaked almonds for that classic Bakewell crunch. On top, a glossy layer of raspberry jam and piped swirls of buttercream are crowned with bright glacé cherries for a stunning finish. Deliciously nostalgic and a gorgeous centrepiece this Christmas.
